A New DL-Lite N Bool Probabilistic Extension Using Belief
نویسندگان
چکیده
Dealing with uncertainty is a very important issue in description logics (DLs). In this paper, we present PrDL‐ Litebool N a new probabilistic extension of DL‐ Litebool N by supporting the belief interval in a single axiom or a set of axioms connected with conjunction (by ∧ ) or disjunction (by ∨ ) operators. The PrDL‐ Litebool N semantics is based on DL‐ Litebool N features which are a new alternative semantics for DL‐ Litebool N having a finite structure and its number is always finite unlike classical models. PrDL‐ Litebool N also supports terminological and assertional probabilistic knowledge and the main reasoning tasks: satisfiability, deciding the probabilistic axiom entailment and computing tight interval for entailment are achieved by solving linear constraints system. A prototype is implemented using OWL API for knowledge base creation, Pellet for reasoning and LpSolve for solving the linear programs.

Reasoning about Belief Uncertainty in DL Lite N bool
Dealing with uncertainty is a very important issue in description logics (DLs). In this paper, we present PrDL‐ Litebool N a new probabilistic extension of DL‐ Litebool N , known as a very expressive DL‐Lite, by supporting the belief degree interval in a single axiom or a set of axioms connected with conjunction (by ∧) or disjunction (by ∨) operators. The PrDL‐ Litebool N semantics is based on ...
متن کاملHandling uncertainty: An extension of DL-Lite with Subjective Logic
Data in real world applications is often subject to some kind of uncertainty, which can be due to incompleteness, unreliability or inconsistency. This poses a great challenge for ontology-based data access (OBDA) applications, which are expected to provide a meaningful answers to queries, even under uncertain domains. Several extensions of classical OBDA systems has been proposed to address thi...
متن کاملDL-Lite with Temporalised Concepts, Rigid Axioms and Roles
We investigate the temporal extension of the description logic DL-Lite bool with the until operator on concepts, rigid (time-independent) and local (time-dependent) roles, and rigid TBox axioms. Using an embedding into the one-variable fragment of first-order temporal logic and the quasimodel technique, we prove that (i) the satisfiability problem for the resulting logic is PSpace-complete, and...
متن کاملDL-Lite with Attributes and Sub-Roles (Extended Abstract)
The DL-Lite family of description logics has recently been proposed and investigated in [5–7] and later extended in [1, 8, 3]. The relevance of the DL-Lite family is witnessed by the fact that it forms the basis of OWL 2 QL, one of the three profiles of OWL 2 (http://www.w3.org/TR/owl2-profiles/). According to the official W3C profiles document, the purpose of OWL 2 QL is to be the language of ...
متن کاملComputing Datalog Rewritings Beyond Horn Ontologies
Rewriting-based approaches for answering queries over an OWL 2 DL ontology have so far been developed mainly for Horn fragments of OWL 2 DL. In this paper, we study the possibilities of answering queries over non-Horn ontologies using datalog rewritings. We prove that this is impossible in general even for very simple ontology languages, and even if PTIME = NP. Furthermore, we present a resolut...
